Palo Alto Concert Audio Dec. 8, 2019

Selected ensemble and choir files recorded from the audience by Rambhakta. Note: volume issues are fixed. (Sorry, I missed Mother of Wisdom and Riu Riu Chiu!) At the top here are HUGE files for high-quality listening online or downloading (96kHz 24-bit WAV). Below are smaller mp3 files for downloading (2.1 to 6.7 MB, 16-bit 41.1 kHz). The mp3 files lose a wee bit of richness but are quite clean and a much more manageable size.

Technical information for Ananda music ministries: these files were recorded using the built-in mics of a tiny but very high-quality Sony PCM-M10 digital recorder that I bought used on Ebay for $200. I am acquiring a high-end portable Sound Devices MiPre-6 II recorder ($850 new) and will post files as they become available. The price of high-end audio has fallen drastically as technology advances. There really is no longer any excuse for poor audio!

Note from Karen: I took a close look at all the parts and chords, and I think tenors can all sing one part together this year. That will make it easier to learn/support each other. There are otherwise as many as 3 tenor parts — but we don’t have 1 singer on a part like Chanticleer.
